The centralization of e-mail provides greater control and security over the communications flowing in and out of your organization.
Different organizations send and receive mail in different ways. For example, some employ a variety of separate POP3 accounts, hosted by one or more ISPs. Some use a single multiple drop POP3 account. Smaller companies sometimes have only a single address POP3 account. Larger organizations receive their e-mail directly, or via an ISP, using SMTP. WorkgroupMail provides a solution for all these scenarios.
WorkgroupMail can run on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT and Windows 2000. It has no special hardware requirements over and above the mimimum requirements for the particular operating system.
This user guide describes in detail the procedure for installing and configuring the software, specifically for your own environment.
